About Position

Paidy is looking for an experienced System Engineer to expand our IT Service Department.

Key Role and Responsibilities

  • User account provisioning tasks in a timely manner.
  • Create, Delete, Update user's accesses
  • Prepare and deploy hardware for employees
  • Implement configuration changes on systems as per requirements in coordination with our IT security partners
  • Provide help desk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction
  • Work closely with different teams on projects to establish office Infrastructure requirements and work to provide IT solutions
  • Maintain hardware and software inventory
  • Create and update user manuals, operation manuals, and other documents as needed
  • Provide consultations for system updates, replacement, and service improvements
  • Processing of purchase requests in areas managed by the Office IT team
  • Document and improve internal procedures
  • Work closely with Security team to optimize security related to the end-user risk surfaces and corporate office network boundaries

Skills and Requirements

Must have 

  • 5-7 years of relevant technical experience as System Administrator or Application Support
  • Atlassian (Jira / Confluence) working experiences; knowledge on creating and managing projects and related workflows
  • Working experiences and knowledge on some of the below technologies:
    • JumpCloud
    • Google workspace
    • Endpoint DLP management agents
    • Cisco Meraki
    • Ricoh MFD
    • Apple MDM
  • Intermediate scripting knowledge in one of: Python, Powershell or Bash
  • Strong knowledge of MacOS, Windows, and Linux operating systems
  • Familiarity with Chrome OS, iOS and Android
  • Solid understanding of patch/security management
  • Microsoft Office / Office365 troubleshooting abilities
  • A minimum of Business level Japanese (reading & writing) and Conversational English
  • High school diploma or equivalent
