本日は素晴らしいご報告があります。株式会社Paidyは、このたび、ペイパルによるPaidy全株式取得について合意しました。世界規模でオンライン決済ビジネスを展開するペイパルの持つ専門知識、リソースを活用することで、一層成長を加速させ、「お買い物に『めんどくさい』はいらない。」という当社のミッションをさらに推し進めることができると確信しています。日本市場は私たちの成長を可能にしてくれた活気に満ちた環境であり、これまでの同市場におけるチームの努力と可能性をグローバルリーダーに認められたことを光栄に思います。

Exciting news! Paidy has reached an agreement to join PayPal, the global payments company. With PayPal’s expertise, resources and global scale, Paidy will be able to further achieve our mission of taking the hassle out of shopping. Japan has been a vibrant environment for our growth to date and we’re honored to have our team’s hard work and potential recognized by a global leader.

Paidy will continue to operate its existing business, maintain its brand and support a wide variety of consumer wallets and marketplaces by providing convenient and innovative services. The existing leadership team including Russell Cummer and Riku Sugie will continue to lead the Paidy team.
